United States:

Should the new Reforming American Immigration for a Strong Economy (RAISE) Act be approved, this is how the US would evaluate applicants:

Age: 0-10 points

Education (based on level and country of education): 0-13 points

English skills: 0-12 points

Job offer (salary-based): 0-13 points

Nobel prize (or comparable international award): 25 points

Olympic medal (or comparable sport award): 15 points

Investment plans (depending on capital): 0-12 points

Points needed: 30

Australia:

Age: 0-30 points

Education (based on level and country of education): 0-20 points

English skills: 0-20 points

Work experience (based on number of years): 0-20 points

Points needed: 60

Canada:

Age: 0-12 points

Education (based on level): 0-25 points

English and French: 0-28 points

Job offer: 0-10 points

Work experience (based on number of years): 0-15 points

Points needed: 67

Hong Kong:

Age: 0-30 points

Education (based on level and school rankings): 0-70 points

Language (English, Chinese and others): 0-20 points

Work experience(number of years): 0-55 points

Points needed: 80

This calculation would likely underestimate your qualification in Hong Kong. Judged case by case, you might be qualified for up to 30 additional points if your degree was awarded by a renowned institution recognized internationally, and up to 15 points if you were in a senior role during the most time of your previous work.

New Zealand:

Age: 0-30 points

Education (based on level and country of education): 0-60 points

Job offer (salary-based): 0-110 points

Work experience(number of years): 0-60 points

Points needed: 100

This calculation would likely underestimate your qualification in New Zealand, which awards extra 10 points for candidates who work in an area of absolute skills shortage and extra 30 points for candidates who work outside Auckland. However, the required 100 points is a minimum. It would put you in a pool of candidates, who would then be ranked and picked by immigration officials.

South Korea:

Age: 0-25 points

Education (based on level): 0-35 points

Korean language skills: 0-20 points

Work experience (number of years): 0-30 points

Income: 0-10 points

Points needed: 80
